FREE TO BE ME IS A WORK BOOK DESIGNED TO HELP YOU WITH BUILDING A VISION BOARD

I have designed this workbook to help you expand your thinking to the future by helping you set out your road map to reaching the life that you want to move towards. With step by step prompts you will be able to breakdown your thinking, looking at where you are now and where you want to be. You will be making a commitment to your future self to make positive changes that lead you towards feeling more aligned with your values, bringing greater clarity around what you want for the future and identifying what you need to do to get there.

RECLAIM YOUR PEACE IS A GREAT EXERCISE TO HELP YOU TO GAIN PERSPECTIVE AT A TIME WHEN YOU FEEL THINGS ARE OFF CENTRE

This exercise from Stephen Covey’s 7 habits of highly effective people is a great way to regain emotional stability at times when you feel things are off centre

During this work you will need to clearly identify the issues that are on your mind which are preventing you from feeling truly happy and fulfilled. By using this tool you will be able to generate greater awareness and clarity around these issues by separating your concerns into categories of what is in your control (circle of influence) and what’s out of your control (circle of control) giving you greater insight into the choices you have at hand to create a happier, more peaceful more fulfilled life.

VALUES LIST

When working with me to focus on becoming more confident, clearer about your future or build happiness and self esteem, we will often begin our work by looking at our values. As new chapters in life emerge, priorities can change meaning what we place value on can also start to change. By identifying our values as who we are today we can often gain clarity and confidence when making decisions that may impact our future happiness.

WHEEL OF LIFE CAN IDENTIFY THE AREAS THAT NEED TRANSFORMATION AND HELP IDENTIFY PRIORITIES

This exercise will make you identify the areas of life that require your attention and how balanced and fulfilled you are in this moment. It is an excellent tool to help start the process of transformation at a time when you may feel lost or confused about what needs to change to make you feel happier.

Allowing yourself time to be guided in gentle meditation and focusing on the breath helps to strengthen mental capacity and deepen your mind-body connection.

In these meditations, Megan guides the listener to settle into the body, connect with the breath and root the self in gratitude. Megan’s meditations are inspired by her work in mental health, combining empowering language with intuitive prompts and themes. These meditations intend to summon a mindful moment, freeing up mental capacity for the rest of the day. For more information on her check out her website meganyoga.co.uk

GRATITUDE MEDITATION (3.5 minutes)

An opportunity to slow down and enjoy a mindful moment, inviting in a sense of gratitude.

Research shows gratitude isn’t just a pleasant feeling — being grateful can also support greater health, happiness, and increase our self esteem. Practicing gratitude daily can have significant effects on our mental health and well being.

“Strengthening your positive recall bias makes it easier to see the good things around you even when times are dark,” says Nancy Davis Kho, author of the book The Thank-You Project: Cultivating Happiness One Letter of Gratitude at a Time

AFFIRMATION MEDITATION (5 minutes)

Root yourself in gratitude by practicing affirmations, and give yourself the opportunity to repeat affirmations out loud or silently.

Fortunately, positive affirmations are almost as easy to define as they are to practice. Put simply, they are positive phrases or statements used to challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts.

Practicing positive affirmations can be extremely simple, and all you need to do is pick a phrase and repeat it to yourself.

You may choose to use positive affirmations to motivate yourself, encourage positive changes in your life, or boost your self-esteem. If you frequently find yourself getting caught up in negative self-talk, positive affirmations can be used to combat these often subconscious patterns and replace them with more adaptive narratives. This is a perfect meditation to help you stop and take time for yourself and guide you towards a place of power and confidence.
